White House: House Libya resolutions 'unhelpful' - Yahoo! News: "WASHINGTON (AFP) – The White House said Friday that two resolutions set for a vote in Congress critical of President Barack Obama's conduct of the US operation in Libya were 'unhelpful and unnecessary.'
The pending House of Representatives votes reveal growing discontent over Obama's stewardship of the Libya conflict and complaints that he did not seek authorization for military action as required by the constitution.
'We have continued to consult with Congress all along. In just the last week there have been three separate congressional briefings,' deputy White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters aboard Air Force One."
